A Poem

A young woman wearing a black party dress laying on the counter on bar. There’s a wine glass in front of her/ She’s looking into the camera lense seductively. There are drinks on the shelves behind her.

Two things these days that
Don’t last as much as we might:
The hour of happiness and
The stand of one night.

The game of dressing up
And going to the bar,
Hopes of being courted
In someone’s fancy car.
