My life is like a drawer
Full of socks that do not match
Trying to find what that means
Is like a ghost I cannot catch

So I sharpen my pencil
Until I see the point
When paper meets graphite
The forces in me unite

How can I fight a war with stars
With a saber out of light?
My purpose feeds my soul
It makes a dull day bright

I’m looking for answers
That Google fails to bring
I search Safari to Firefox
I Brave on Yahoo! and Bing

I look for inspiration in
Every turn of my kaleidoscope
Pretty patterns that my eyes adore
Are starting to give me hope

I opened up the drawer
And pull out two unmatched socks
As I wear one on each foot
My creativity unlocks
